The Daughter ‘Magius and Haunter, Dre instantly took to battling from day one, fighting her twin brother Gas almost constantly for fun. ‘Magius was very firm about the fact that she didn’t want her children battling at such a young age, but she finally broke when Dre learned Perish Song, proving that she was strong enough to join his Basic team

The Twin brother of Dre, the two were always fighting each other showing off their skills. Gas usually spent most of his time following around his father, Haunter, trying to learn from him. When Dre started to show interest in being battling competitively, Gas, of course, started to show the same. Hiding that he knew Hypnosis and Dream Eater, he showed off the moves to Viktor, which instantly got him a spot on his main time. This being because Viktor wanted his basic team to be focused around status changes, and this was indeed a huge advantage for his team.

A Gift from Hazel, the Grass Gym leader, Nuzleaf was another unexpected addition to his team. Hazel noted that although he was thinking outside the box, perhaps a Dark type pokemon would help his team more. The Seedot was always very helpful but at the same time one of this trickier pokemon. During a competitive battle, the Seedot decided it wanted to fight. Being a younger pokemon it was not prepared for the battle. When it was hit, it became very angry which cause him to evolve into a Nuzleaf. After that it took on the team and defeated all 6 of the opponents pokemon. Viktor didn’t expect the pokemon to be as good as it was at battling, but all the same, Nuzleaf has added something a little extra to Viktors basic gym team.

Viktors Second pokemon, Haunter has been one of the best additions to his team. Being the very first pokemon he caught in the wild, as a Gastly, the pokemon was always very poised for battle and took things very seriously. Although he did have a soft spot for ‘Magius before and after they both evolved. After their crushing defeat at the Poison Gym, Gastly worked twice as hard for a month and during their last week of training, evolved into a Haunter. Although he is a vital member of Viktor’s team, he currently resides on his basic team because he wanted to watch over him and ‘Magius’s two children, Gas and Dre.

Viktor first bet Drifblim while he was training with Fantina in Hearthome. At the time a Drifloon, the Pokemon was the son of Fantina’s Drifblim and Gengar. It instantly grew attached to Viktor at the beginning of his stay, constantly wanting to battle and be with his other Pokemon. Viktor was more than happy when Fantina offered the Drifloon as a gift on his Birthday. Shortly after leaving Hearthome, Drifloon evolved into a Drifblim, and has become not only an invaluable member of his team, but also his sole means of transportation around Bohren.

After finding her in the Cathedral he turned into the gym, he took the league by storm. His ‘Magious in the home front. His main trouble was at the Poison gym, where he lost. He took a very long break training, in the time, he made the choice to evolve her. They had both decided together that when the time came, and when they knew it was time, they would evolve her. He went to his home town where his grandmother had a Dusk stone ready for him. After she evolved, they trained for an extra month and took the Poison gym down. Through both his Honnen and Sinnoh adventures she was still at this lead. ‘Magious is his main pokemon and his most loyal.

After being traded for his Houndour (a very difficult pokemon Viktor attempted to raise), Snorunt was very eager to please its new trainer. Determined to prove herself to him, she would always volunteer in battle. However, after their crushing defeat at the Poison gym, Snorunt decided to let Mismagious do all the work. While at Viktor's grandmother, Snorunt saw the collection of stones Viktor’s grandmother had. The Dawn stone stared at Snorunt, who so longed to become a Frosslass. Viktor’s grandmother entrusted him with the Dawn stone, advising him that Snorunt had a lot of growing up to do before she was ready to evolve. After fighting getting his 7th Badge. Viktor approached Snorunt with the choice to evolve. She denied, making him realize that he would have an upper hand with a pure ice type at the next gym. Snorunt stayed the same until they reached Sinnoh. After training at Fantina's Gym, she showed Snorunt the different moves it could learn if it evolve. Snorunt listened and finally decided to take on the Dawn stone and evolve into a Frosslass, to which Viktor renamed ’Lass.

After traveling through Sinnoh, Viktor decided to take on the Hoenn league with his already stellar team of pokemon. During his travels he stumbled upon a Nincada. He already knew during his research that it evolved into both Ninjask and Shedninja (a ghost type pokemon he wanted greatly). Not soon later the pokemon Evolved. While he attempted to use the Shedninja more frequently, he couldn’t help but notice at how amazingly Ninjask worked with his entire team. While Shedninja was still used, he favored to use Ninjask much, much more. With his new team strategy for the upcoming season, Ninjask has joined on his main team, with a very strong focus.

During his very first days in Hoenn, Viktor first encounter with a wild pokemon was Dusknoir. He was shocked when he came upon the creature as it was one of the ones he had come to Hoenn to catch. He excitedly defeated and joined his team very quickly. Viktor tried to focus on the pokemon, as another trainer he studied with in Hearthome had a Dusknoir. Duskull was a very powerful battler and gave 110% during every battle. Being extremely competitive, losing was usually a very hard thing for him. Once randomly evolving into Dusclops during a casual training session, he doubled his efforts., now giving 220%. Dusclops barley lost when he came into play, however he had issues with coming out to battle when he was not called. This stopped almost right after it started, when Viktor send the Dusclops to stay with his Grandmother and to meet her overly confident Spiritomb. Viktor’s Grandmother said that the Dusclops had learned to manage it’s Hootspa and returned him. To Viktor’s surprise, she had attached a Reapers Cloth to the Dusclops and when it arrived it had evolved into a Dusknoir.

When he first arrived at Sinnoh, Viktor had a long list of Pokemon that his Grandmother told him to look out for, as she once lived in Sinnoh a long time ago. Viktor had researched and studied the pokemon carefully and was searching for the best ones he could find. During a series of bad luck, Viktor came across a Female Combee. In a wave of panic and excitement he attempted to catch the pokemon, only to miss completely. As the Combee flew away, he found his pokeball in a pile of brush. When he released the pokemon it turned out to be a Meowth, a pokemon Viktor never expected to have or use. The Meowth was very obedient and was much faster then he expected. Meowth became a quick addition to his team. It was a surprise on his team, as no one expected a ghost master to have a Normal type pokemon, but it was just like the others on his team. Fast, unexpected and hard to beat. Once it evolved into a Persian during a training session with Fantina, it easily became one of the best trump cards on his team.
